Today's competitive environment requires a strong drive for research and innovation, as well as continuous investments for the creation of new products. In the foreseeable future, the challenge will be to compact, integrate and digitise, to provide markets with products that our competitors do not have.
We are dealing with extremely fast-moving evolutions that require rapid responses in terms of innovation and new products. There is an urgent need to create a system with the knowledge hubs of the territory and to encourage the sharing of knowledge in order to reduce the research time for innovation and product development.
PMP saw the possibility of this with the University of Trieste, Department of Engineering and Architecture.The collaboration will develop over ten years, a period that allows you to plan both short-term and long-term objectives for projects with multiannual visibility, and will include training and research and development activities in the electrical, electronic and electromechanical sector.
The University will benefit from the important international experience of the company and PMP will benefit from the laboratories and from the academic knowledge of this prestigious educational institution.
Close cooperation between universities and businesses, especially in this historical period, capable of raising the cultural level of our society, to realign training with the demands of the labour market and create social development and personal perspectives for citizens.
